Wenli Wang has arrived in Rovaniemi in early February as a post-doc to the CHARTER project. As the project winds down this year, she will likely be our last! Wenli has a background in atmospheric sciences and completed her Phd at the Beijing Normal University, in Beijing, China under the supervision of Prof. John Moore and Dr. Annette Rinke of AWI.
Since completing her Phd in 2017, Wenli has worked in several institutes in China, the U.S. and Germany. While here she will be working closely with John Moore, building on her research interests of climate modelling and snow radiative transfer, among other areas and integrating in situ observations of snow physics with snow modelling.
